Welcome to Foolish 8 Spreadsheet Thanks for taking a look at our Foolish 8 Spreadsheet. Whether you're here to get instructions because you have already purchased the Sheet, here kicking the tires to see if it's something you are interested in, or you just happened to click the "Foolish 8 Instructions" link when you meant to hit the "Free Ice Cream" link... we're glad you've stopped by. Your first step should be reading David Gardner's Introduction. Along with Foolish words from David about this product and its use, you'll also find some very important tips about how we do NOT want you to use this product. We DON'T want you to say, "Hey, this stock made the Foolish 8 screen... I should buy all I can afford of it." We DON'T want you to use this sheet to avoid research, but rather hope that we can provide a helpful tool in locating stocks that might be worth researching further. But wait a sec, we're stealing David's thunder. We'll let him say it instead... You say you'd like to see the product first? No prob. We've set up a free sample area just for your viewing pleasure. :-) Next, you'll want to figure out which of the three versions is best for you. If you have the latest and greatest of Excel, then go for the high powered Excel 97/98 and above version. If you've decided not to pay your almost annual contribution to the Bill Gates retirement fund, and you are still working with older versions of Excel (including Excel 7.0 and Excel 95), feel free to use the Excel 5.0 and above version. Not using Excel at all? Don't fret. We've got a Text Only version, suitable for importing into any spreadsheet you like, or even a word processor. It'll work with just about anything, even the standard "Notepad" that Microsoft gave you with Windows. All in all, we hope you enjoy, we hope you research, and we hope that you find this a helpful tool in your investing life.
