The Dell Duel

Welcome back for another installment of Dueling Fools, wherein bulls and bears face off in a respectable rumble. In the past few weeks, Fools have locked horns over Intel and America Online. This week, the discussion is DELL COMPUTER <% if gsSubBrand = "aolsnapshot" then Response.Write("(Nasdaq: DELL)") else Response.Write("(Nasdaq: DELL)") end if %>, the high-flying direct sales computer company. Dell stock is up about 500% in the past year-- our bull, Randy Befumo (TMF Templr), contests that it could still climb higher, while our bear, David Forrest (TMF Bogey), thinks that the shares are ready for a fall.

In the listbox to the right, you'll find the bullish and bearish cases, as well as the rebuttals and helpful links to more information about Dell Computer. Finally, and most importantly, there's a link to the Dell message folder, where we invite you to continue the duel in fine Foolish fashion.

[Any suggestions, comments, praise, or flames, please send them along to Rick Aristotle Munarriz ([email protected]) and the other Foolish editors and producers.]
