The Try Athlon
Advanced Micro Devices (9/12/00): $30 1/2

September 13, 2000

Between the Duron and the Athlon processors, Advanced Micro Devices <% if gsSubBrand = "aolsnapshot" then Response.Write("(NYSE: AMD)") else Response.Write("(NYSE: AMD)") end if %> is hoping to make computer users forget that Intel <% if gsSubBrand = "aolsnapshot" then Response.Write("(Nasdaq: INTC)") else Response.Write("(Nasdaq: INTC)") end if %> is the biggest chipmaker.
