(August 14): My research project is still on schedule, meaning I should have data complied back to 1984 (when IBD was first published) before I leave New York next on August 24. So, hang in there with these brief and tardy reports. Two bits of news today. A Robinson-Humphrey analyst upgraded Tellabs and a Hambrecht & Quist analyst trimmed earnings estimates on Hewlett-Packard, which is slated to report earnings Thursday. Overall, though, a sweet day for the model, doubling the strongest market index on the day, the NASDAQ. Stay tuned, Fools and I'll keep you posted on the research progress.
