---Oracle announced a new program (the Oracle Developer Program) that facilitates the efforts of both entrepreneurial and corporate developers by providing early access to strategic products, technical information, education, and support in an affordable, easy-access format.
---Oracle announced the immediate availability of the Designer/2000 WebServer Generator, the first modeling tool to generate Web applications automatically.
---Oracle demonstrated the ConText Option, which offers users new capabilities for manipulating the tremendous amount of text information on the Internet and on Intranets.
---At the National Association of Broadcasters, Oracle announced the Oracle Newsroom Manager, a new suite of products which completely integrate text and video news production on a solid, scalable information management foundation.
---In PR news for Oracle, the company announced that its Media Objects multimedia authoring environment software has been awarded the Platinum Award for Multimedia Software from AV Video Magazine. Also, Oracle launched a Web version of the popular Oracle Magazine. The Oracle Magazine Interactive Web Site is available free at http://www.oramag.com.
An underperforming day for the traditional IFG approach but another outperformer for the Relative Strength models, which were up 1.5% today. Fool on!
