In recent months, we've discussed a number of potential stock screens that begin with the largest stocks in America. Whether you're interested in a supplement to the high-yield Dow Dividend Approaches (like Cormend's successful Beating the S&P) where you pull other high-yield, large-cap stocks into the mix, or a relative strength approach like my Keystone Portfolio, the launching point is a list of America's biggest stocks.
Periodically, then, I'll post just such a list. Here are the 100 American stocks in the Value Line database with the largest market capitalization. The market-cap figures here are in millions of dollars, and each stock's ticker symbol follows the company name. Over the next four days, I'll be reviewing some of the different large-cap screens we've been tracking of late, so stay tuned.
