The Daily Workshop Report
by Robert Sheard (TMF Sheard)

HILTON HEAD, S.C. (August 01, 1997) -- Today marks the end of our July accounting period for the monthly Growth Screens. (Our monthly periods run from the first Friday of one month to the first Friday of the next.) This weekend, then, marks the official update to the Workshop Database.

If you're an AOL reader, expect the new Workshop Database sometime late Sunday afternoon or evening. The database on the Web site won't be updated until Monday, but I'll try to arrange for it to be posted in the Foolish Workshop message folder Sunday evening (in the Investors Roundtable section of our web message boards).

In the meantime, here are the deletions and additions to the database stocks:

Delete:
CDI Corp (CDI)
Conseco (CNC)
Dionex (DNEX)
Oryx Energy (ORX)
Pfizer (PFE)
Wespoint Stevens (WPSN)

Add:
BJ Services (BJS)
Coors (ACCOB)
HealthSouth (HRC)
Helmerich & Payne (HP)
Hon Industries (HONI)
Northern Telecom (NT)

In a preview of the new screens, here is the updated Investing for Growth order:
