That's Life (in the Market)
by Jeb Sturmer ([email protected])

(Best read in accompaniment to Sinatra)

That's life. (chorus girls: That's liiiiiife)
That's what all the people say
The market's high in April
It's shot down in May
But I know I'm gonna make my buck
When come to September, it's gone back up
I said that's life (chorus girls: that's liiiiiife)
And it's kinda funny to say
That no matter what, the Wise'll get their pay
But I do know what I've, what I've learned
It's best to be in it for the long term

I've been a printer, a paper loader, a pizza maker and unemployed.
Then I've done some things that (outside of work) that I've enjoyed
Each time I find my stock, going down or to the side
I just turn off the computer terminal and spend some time outside

That's life (chorus girls: that's liiiiiife)
I tell you, I can't deny it
I thought of quitting, baby
But my smarts won't let me try it
And if I didn't think it was worth the time,
I wouldn't be wasting one single dime.

I've been printer, a paper loader, a pizza maker, and unemployed
Then I've done some things that (outside of work) that I've enjoyed
Each time I find my stock, going down or to the side
I just turn off the computer terminal and spend some time outsiiiiiiide

That's life (chorus girls: that's liiiiiife)
That's life and I can't deny it
Many times I thought of cutting out
But my smarts won't let me try it
But if the market's still down next July
I'm going to pull out my blue check book
And buyyyyyyyyyy!!

My, myyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
