Don't Let the RAIN Get You
Down
by Drakes353
Injecting a little humor into an otherwise unpleasant situation may help get you through the *here and now* and allow you to focus on the *long-term* nature of Foolishness (buying businesses below Foolish fair value, doing one's own homework, checking the numbers on a quarterly basis, etc.)
While I composed this little ditty for holders of Rainforest Cafe (RAIN), the message is universal. It is sung to the tune of "Raindrops are Falling on my Head" (sincere apologies to Burt Bacharach and Hal David).
RAIN's stock is fallin' out of bed
And just like the Fool whose port
is somewhat in the red
Nothin' seems to rise
Oh, RAIN's stock is fallin'
out of bed, it keeps fallin'
So I just read me some postin's from the board
And I saw that folks
didn't like it getting floored
Losin' lots of cash
Oh, RAIN's stock
is fallin' out of bed, it keeps fallin'
But there's one thing I know
The losses sent meet me won't defeat
me
It won't be long 'till Disney World coins cash so sweetly
RAIN's stock is fallin' out of bed
But that doesn't mean my eyes will
soon be turnin' red
Crying's not for Fools
Cause I'm never gonna stop
the drops by complainin'
Because I'm free (of margin and options)
This
ain't worrying me
