The Boasting Traveler

A group of people were sitting around a chat room one day listening to a young man who had just come back from a journey to another online area.

"Why, folks," he said, "when I was over in that other forum they were having an investing contest. I entered the contest and I was so wonderful and I picked so well there wasn't any one in that whole area who could even come close to my mark. Why, they had never seen such a stock picker as I am," and he went on like that, about what a great investor he was over in the other area, until everybody was tired of listening to him.

While he was still bragging, somebody said, "Why don't you just pretend you are in that forum now, and show us some of this marvelous stock picking, instead of just talking about it?"

The traveler stopped talking and signed off.

The Point---If you really can do a thing well you don't have to boast about it. Ahh, Foolish accountability.
