The Travelers
from E-Sop's Frables

Two men were walking along the investment road together when one of them saw an axe lying on the ground. He picked it up and said, "Look, I have found an axe. And there's a note attached saying that Axe Corp. <% if gsSubBrand = "aolsnapshot" then Response.Write("(NASDAQ:CHOP)") else Response.Write("(NASDAQ:CHOP)") end if %> is going to be bought out tomorrow."

"Don't say 'I have found an axe,'" said his fellow Traveler, "say 'We have found an axe,' because as we are companions we should share it."

"No, no," said the first one. "This is all mine. I'm going to make a killing if no one else finds out about this news."

They had gone only a little farther on when up came a big rough looking man. Anyone could see he was the owner of the axe, and he was angry. With him was an agent from the SEC with a folder marked all in red: "Insider Trading Violations."

"Oh! oh!" said the Traveler with the axe, "Now we are in trouble."

"You're wrong," said the other one. "You should say, 'Now I am in trouble." You wouldn't share the prize, now I won't share the danger. Goodbye."

The Point---True Fools share both the good and the bad. (The problem is distinguishing between the two.)
