The Jack-Daw & the Sheep
from E-Sop's Frables

(in honor of beleagured chat hosts everywhere)

A Jack-daw tout alighted on the back of a Sheep named Chat Host in the Foolish Conference Room and chattered away, scrolling the screen with ticker symbols and unsubstantiated cries of "buy" and "sell," until the poor Sheep Chat Host couldn't hear himself think.

"Keep quiet, you noisy rascal," said the Sheep. "If I were a Dog, and able to reach you, you wouldn't sit there on my back and raise such a racket."

"I know I wouldn't, if you were a Dog," sauced the Jack-daw, "but you are not a Dog---you're just a weak old Sheep," and he kept right on with his chattering.

The Point---Some people just love to make a nuisance of themselves, particularly when they know they can do it without harm to themselves.
