Stocks Fools
Love
February 11, 1998
The great Diana Ross once asked, "Why do Fools fall in love?" It's always been a difficult question to answer. I haven't seen any evidence that Cupid has visited Fooldom recently. If he has, he's either been too busy checking his portfolio to take a shot at anybody, or he has really bad aim.
Yet there has been a glimmer of hope. When Fools were asked to write about
the stocks they loved the most, rosiness returned to cheeks, smiles returned
to faces, and love was in the air at Fool HQ. That's the answer. Fools fall
in love when they find solid companies that they can invest in for the long
term. In this collection, thirteen Fools share the special
relationships that they share with their stocks. And more importantly,
they explain why they fell in love.
