Duel Flashback:
Wal-Mart
Six months ago we took a look at the late Sam Walton's retail empire, Wal-Mart <% if gsSubBrand = "aolsnapshot" then Response.Write("(NYSE: WMT)") else Response.Write("(NYSE: WMT)") end if %>. Like many of the discounted goods inside the chain's stores Yi-Hsin Chang (TMF Puck) thought the stock was a bargain.
Paul Larson (TMF Parlay) figured the company's "Low Prices Everyday" strategy would eventually apply to the company's share price. Our shop-happy Voting Fools sided with the bullish Yi-Hsin. Since the Duel the shares have risen a modest 9%.
Victory? Yi-Hsin Chang and our Voting Fools. Congrats.
