Duel Flashback:
Sears

There was a time when investor enthusiasm for Sears <% if gsSubBrand = "aolsnapshot" then Response.Write("(NYSE: S)") else Response.Write("(NYSE: S)") end if %> ran as high as the Sears Tower in Chicago. No more. The company has come across hard times so it was fitting that our Duel would come up the week after the typically jovial holiday shopping season.

Rick Munarriz (TMF Edible) was the bull. Warren Gump (TMF Gump) was the Grinch. Our Foolish Voters sided with Warren. Yet, in a change of heart, Sears has begun to win back some of last year's losses. Six months later Sears has risen 7.7% -- a relative yawner but still a climber.

Victory? Rick Munarriz. Congrats.
