Boeing Going or Gone
Boeing price (6/1/99): $42 5/8
Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy Duel. This week we take Boeing <% if gsSubBrand = "aolsnapshot" then Response.Write("(NYSE: BA)") else Response.Write("(NYSE: BA)") end if %> for a little stint down the runway. The company is the largest commercial airplane maker in the world. It is also one of the largest defense contractors. But is that defensive or offensive?
Not all Fools agree. Paul Larson (TMF Parlay) expects the shares to take flight while Bill Barker (TMF Max) expects them to remain grounded.
Whose flight will you board? You get to decide. And, when you're done, don't miss this week's Duel Flashback, where we take a look back at our bug-loving Pixar <% if gsSubBrand = "aolsnapshot" then Response.Write("(Nasdaq: PIXR)") else Response.Write("(Nasdaq: PIXR)") end if %> Duel.
You Get to Vote!
Once you've read the arguments and the rebuttals, it's your time to cast your vote. We'll tabulate results each week and revisit them from time to time to see whether you were right! As always, we invite you to join us in the Dueling Fools Message board to continue the duel.

The Bear... Here's what I don't understand. Why do I keep reading so many articles about how the market is so overpriced using Internet or tech companies as examples when these writers have got Boeing to kick around instead? Continue... |
