Duel Flashback:
Apple

Six months ago, before the iMac became the darnedestly coolest looking personal computer on the market, we had a fundamental war over the prospects of Apple <% if gsSubBrand = "aolsnapshot" then Response.Write("(Nasdaq: AAPL)") else Response.Write("(Nasdaq: AAPL)") end if %>. It was on April Fool's Day no less!

Since then, investment sentiment has sided with our bull Louis Corrigan (TMF Seymor) over David Forrest (TMF Bogey) and his bearish take on the computer maker. Shares of Apple have gone from $27 1/2 to $38 1/8 for an impressive 38.6% gain. The Voting Fools sided with Louis -- correctly expecting this to be one shiny Apple.

Victory? Louis Corrigan and our Foolish voters!
