The word "Interactive" has been touted as an advertising buzzword by online advocates since the inception of the World Wide Web. Industry Snapshot is our attempt to help Fools the world around receive a solid stock education by leveraging the online medium with a subscription product offering, in other words, a truly interactive product.

Each week subscribers to Industry Snaphot receive a comprehensive analysis of an industry and a detailed look at six companies within that industry. The analysis is complemented by an exhaustive run through the ratios, in which a combination of over 30 Foolish and "standard-fare" finance ratios are utilized. The end result is a thorough understanding of stock valuation.

This online area serves as a general resource for subscribers, providing additional information about the companies featured in the Industry Snapshot. As the weeks progress important news stories that affect these companies and their subsequent industries will be included in this area. The message boards will provide an important pathway to our industry experts as well as a forum for subscriber opinion and comment. If you're not a subscriber can you still post in these areas?
