The sub-segment of the private corrections market that deals with troubled teens spends $32 billion each year on special education programs and $5.7 billion on juvenile incarceration. KIDS is well positioned in this market with over 18 years of experience in providing services at a low cost to both public schools and government agencies. KIDS steps in where these agencies leave off, providing both residential and non-residential settings for emotionally disturbed, behaviorally disordered, and learning disabled youth. Latest Financials Total revenues for the first nine months of fiscal 1997 grew 22.7% to $23,359,000 from $19,042,000 for the same period of the prior year. Net income more than doubled to $4,230,000 from $2,017,000. Fully taxed net income per fully diluted share was $0.35 for the first nine months of fiscal 1997, up 34.6% from $0.26 for the comparable period ended March 31, 1996. Fully diluted weighted average common shares and equivalents outstanding increased 23.7%.
