Net income for the fourth quarter was $87.7 million or $1.12 per share fully
diluted, on sales of $1.56 billion, compared to a loss of $123 million or
$2.28 per share on sales of $1.2 billion in the fourth quarter a year ago.
Net income for fiscal 1997 was a record $149 million or $2.05 per share fully
diluted on sales of $5.3 billion, compared to a loss of $90 million or $1.74
per share fully diluted on sales of $4.4 billion for fiscal 1996.
