The Company

BankBoston is the largest bank in the Boston market, and was created as a result of a 1996 merger of Bank of Boston Corporation and BayBanks Incorporated. The bank operates in three core lines: Corporate Banking, Global Banking and Personal banking. With one of the best wholesale units in the country, an international business growing at 20% per year (primarily in Latin America), and a strong retail base which together sport an average 5 year ROE of 17% BKB will continue to be a solid investment.
