Multimedia The Company
STB Systems is shipping its boards to three of the fastest growing OEMs in
the business, Gateway, Dell and Compaq. Sales of add-in boards have been
growing sequentially 45%, over the last three quarters. During 1996 STB's
add-in board market unit volumes grew 55%, while the industry as a whole
grew 35%. In addition STB has been steadily gaining ground within the industry
through high-profile design wins. In 1995 STB eclipsed ATI as the second
largest add-in board manufacturer with over 1445 units shipped. Assuming
STBI can continue to grow as it has over the last three quarters its current
price of 15 times forward earnings (with a PEG of 0.47) leaves some room
for price appreciation ahead.
