The Company

Creative Technology's subsidiary Creative Labs has been the leader in sales of multimedia upgrade kits (MMUK) as well as sound cards, with its ubiquitous "Soundblaster" product (installed in 70% of all PC audio systems. Graphics boards represent a very small percentage of the company's overall revenues but it actively develops boards based on chips from Cirrus Logic and 3D Labs. With more than 25,000 retail oultets and over 175 distributors world wide CREAF would be a force to be reckoned with if it ever decided to pursue board making in earnest. The company sports some of the best gross margins in the multimedia business and with a PEG of 0.34 and a PE of less than 8 times forward earnings CREAF deserves closer scrutiny.
