LEXINGTON, Ky. (Apr. 29): Stepping up to the plate, it's 3M, an anemic batting average but real speed on the base paths. But this one's got a good eye, sports fans. Not too easy to get him to swing at a bad pitch. And here's a fastball ... ouch ... hit him right on the wrist. Runner on first.

Coming to bat with a runner on first is DuPont. DuPont's been in a slump over the last several games, but the Fool Four needs a hit. Let's see what he can do. The market eyes 3M at first, sends a wicked slider toward the plate and DuPont swings for the fences. DuPont smashes the ball ... straight down into the soft area in front of the plate. And he beats it out for a single!!

Coming to bat now with two on is Kodak. He takes a couple of high, tight fastballs ... ball two ... and here's a curve that gets away from the catcher all the way to the backstop. Before he can pick it up, 3M and DuPont advance to second and third. With two out, what choice does the market have? Kodak gets the intentional walk and the market will take its chances with Chevron.

Two outs, bases loaded, bottom of the ninth, and the Fool Four clean-up hitter cleans the mud from his cleats ... taps the outside corner of the plate ... spits ... adjusts (what else?) ... and gives the market the eye.

Here's the pitch ... a hanging curve that Chevron jumps all over ... it's going ... going ... IT'S OUTTA HERE!!!!!!!! A Grand Slam and the Fool Four wins!!!

Can you tell it's a slow news day? Oh well, it's not every day that all of the Fool Four stocks manage to beat the market, so let's enjoy the picture of that line drive screaming over the fence for tonight. Fool Four ... Market nada!
