LEXINGTON, Ky. (Apr. 4): Today was a light day for Foolish Four news. The only stock in the model to show up on the newswires was DuPont, whose Conoco Jet LPG subsidiary announced an agreement to supply Britain's Calor Group with liquefied petroleum gas from Conoco's Humber refinery. Although the volume of propane in the agreement was not announced, analysts estimate the volume to be approximately 50,000 "tonnes" per year. Gotta love the British spellings.

It's days like today when you can be thankful for the long-term success and ease of the Dow Approach. There's not much to do once you've bought your stocks for the year (unless you're using the free time to research growth stocks), so on a day like today with the sky opening up and watering the bluegrass, and the market closed tomorrow for the religious holidays, it's the perfect time to ignore the business world and go pick up a book or listen to a record. I've got a stack of CDs and books staring at me, just waiting for a day like this. After all, one of the advantages of the Dow Approach is that you don't have to keep the spotlight turned on them constantly.

So, enjoy your long weekend. Catch up on the message boards or your e-mail or just visit with your family and friends---whatever your interests are. And smile knowing that you're investing for the long haul and beating the Wise without even having to worry about it. That's my kind of weekend. See you Monday!
